A cherished memory from my youth revolves around our family’s 1948 Ford pickup truck. My dad bought it from his father-in-law, and it quickly became indispensable, hauling everything from cattle to fresh-picked asparagus. I fondly remember listening to Twins games on the radio while my dad enjoyed a peaceful cigarette. Decades later, I found a similar truck abandoned in a grove and restored it to life. Now, with its weathered look intact, it stands proudly in front of our distillery, symbolizing rugged perseverance.
